Apostle Ronnie Parson, born in North Carolina, serves as the senior pastor of The Living Church Ministries in North Carolina and is the Diocesan Bishop of the Piedmont Diocese. With over 31 years in pastoral ministry, he has been actively involved in various leadership roles within the Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ (COOLJC). Apostle Parson holds a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Counseling and has authored several books and pamphlets. Alongside his wife, Lady Rubina Parson, he travels extensively to teach and conduct seminars on leadership, marriage, family development, and contemporary topics, all with the goal of pleasing the Lord.

Pastor Parson was born in Wadesboro, NC, the seventh of nine siblings. In 1981, he relocated to New Jersey to continue a career in engineering at Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, New Jersey. During his stay in New Jersey, he was baptized in Jesus' name and received the Holy Spirit while attending the Islen Community Church, Islen, New Jersey. While serving under Pastor Arthur Jenkins at the Community Church, he was divinely called into the ministry. The divine call was a crisis experience that continues to have him seeking to, as the Apostle Paul said, "Apprehend why he was apprehended." Pastor Parson has served in the pastoral ministry for over thirty-eight years and is the senior Pastor of The Living Church Ministries located in Charlotte, and the founding Pastor of The Living Church Statesville, North Carolina (NC). Apostle Parson is Apostle over Region 5 (North Carolina, West Virginia, and the Caribbean). Initially, he served as an Apostle over protocol, but in 2024, he was appointed Apostle of Global Missions. As of the 2025 Convention, Apostle Parson is now Presider of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Additionally, he oversees the Counseling Department of COOLJC. Dr. Parson holds an earned Doctorate in Marriage and Family Counseling and a Master of Theology & Arts in Christian Counseling, both from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Also, he has a Bachelor of Biblical Studies (Lee University) and an associate’s in electrical engineering technology. He recently served as a professor of Pastoral Counseling and Pastoral Theology at William L Bonner College (WLBC), Columbia, SC. He has also taught courses in Homiletics, Church and Pentecostal History, and Biblical Studies. Dr. Parson is a published author of several books: "I Took a Beating for this Blessing," "A Cellular Communication Approach to Brief Marriage Counseling," "The Divine LGBT Agenda, being a believable believer in a post-truth world," "A Pastor's Guide For Making Referrals," Overcoming Church Hurt, and "Things You Can't Makeup but will Keep You Looking Up." Pastor Ronnie Parson and His wife and best friend, Lady Rubina Parson, travel extensively ministering, teaching, training, and conducting seminars that range from leadership essentials, marriage, and family development to various contemporary topics and theological themes impacting the twenty-first-century church.
